Steward's Report
All About Arby was a late scratching at 1:39pm due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Disco Lemonade was quick to begin. Dr. Toretto and Disco Lemonade collided soon after the start. Midnight Muscat, Jonny Bravo, Teflon Travis and Supa Shalala collided on the first trun checking Jonny Bravo, Teflon Travis and Supa Shalala. Midnight Muscat and Dr. Toretto collided on the first turn checking Dr. Toretto. Supa Shalala was checked off Dr. Toretto on the home turn.
Meehan Phil was vetted following the event after collapsing in the catching pen. It was reported that the greyhound cramped, no stand down period was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Pollutro the trainer of the greyhound Meehan Phil. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (cramp) Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
Supa Shalala was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
