Steward's Report
Run Maggie Run was quick to begin. Offaly Black and Cabangbang were slow to begin. Sylo and Frankie Moss collided approaching the first turn checking Frankie Moss. Sylo, Mariah's Moon and Bullet Proof Ace collided approaching the first turn checking Sylo. Tennyson Girl and Mariah's Moon collided on the first turn. Cabangbang eased on the first turn and took no further competitive part in the event. Tennyson Girl, Frankie Moss and Mariah's Moon collided on the first turn checking Frankie Moss and Tennyson Girl. Tennyson Girl and Frankie Moss collided approaching the home turn checking Frankie Moss.
Trainer Mr. G. Berry declined to have the greyhound Cabangbang vetted following the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Berry, the trainer of the greyhound Cabangbang regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Cabangbang with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Berry pleaded guilty to the charge, Cabangbang was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
