You Ziptop was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Trainer Mr E.Hamilton declined to have the greyhound revetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. E. Hamilton, the trainer of the greyhound You Ziptop regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged You Ziptop with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Hamilton pleaded guilty to the charge, You Ziptop was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blackwater Girl was quick to begin. Tennyson Flyer and Winlock Newbolt collided soon after the start. Mount Ida Miss and Mayhem Express collided soon after the start checking Mayhem Express. Pectoralis, Mount Ida Miss and Blackwater Girl collided on the first turn. Blackwater Girl and Mount Ida Miss collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Ms. C. Jackson, trainer of Kamchatka Lenny declared a new weight of 35.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Kamchatka Lenny last raced at 33.9kg.

Pompadory Parker and Temps Lilo was quick to begin. Burrawonga Miss and Kelli Pochette collided soon after the start checking Kelli Pochette. Pompadory Parker, Burrawonga Miss and Temps Lilo collided on the first turn severely checking Playlord and causing Swear Jar to fall. Temps Lilo marred the running of Pompadory Parker in the home straight.

Swear Jar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey, bisceps, deltoid and thigh muscles and an abrasion to the muzzle, and superficial lacerations to various locations. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Temps Lilo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the neck and right monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Rowe, the trainer of the greyhound Temps Lilo regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Temps Lilo with marring. Mr. Rowe pleaded guilty to the charge, Temps Lilo was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Flying Moss and Still Quick were quick to begin. Cullquin Daario was slow to begin. Aston Atley, Weetbix Jester, Cullquin Brienne and Cullquin Bronn collided on the first turn. Weetbix Jester, Cullquin Brienne and Cullquin Bronn collided approaching the second turn checking Cullquin Brienne. Weetbix Jester and Cullquin Bronn collided on the second turn. Weetbix Jester, Cullquin Brienne and Cullquin Bronn collided approaching the home turn checking Weetbix Jester and Cullquin Brienne. Weetbix Jester and Cullquin Brienne collided on the home turn, entering the home straight and approaching the winning post.

Stewards noted the muzzle of Cullquin Bronn became lodged in the greyhounds mouth in the catching pen.

Still Quick was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor left fore toe injury. A tsnad down period of 5 days was imposed.

Chook Richards was a late scratching at 5:47 pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to split webbing between the third and fourth toes on the left hindleg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Our Magic Turbo was quick to begin. Brave Hearted was very slow to begin (4L). Buster Norris and Cullquin Cersei collided on the first turn. Argyle Franklin checked off It's A Diva entering the back straight. My Girl Sissy checked off Buster Norris in the home straight. Our Magic Turbo and Buster Norris collided approaching the winning post.

The start of this race was delayed by 8 minutes due to a failure of a bank of lights in the back straight and to hold for a Bendigo Harness race.

Bear Left, Big Kenny Bobo, Dashing Weetbix and Zipping Spud collided approaching the first turn checking Big Kenny Bobo. Bear Left and Troy Boyce collided on the first turn checking Troy Boyce. Lily The Weapon was slow to begin. Miss Cotton Sox and Billy Swagger collided on the first turn. Better Way and Billy Swagger collided on the first turn checking Billy Swagger. Primo Beso and Billy Swahher collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Primo Beso was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the neck and and a superficial laceration to the left fore leg. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Meeting Comments:-

Track Curator Mr M Pell advised stewards that the track was lightly harrowed on the 28th October 2018.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Chill Out Indy trialled over the 425mt from box 1, weight 29.3kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.40, the greyhound  won by a margin of 2.75L. Chill Out Indy was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Judge Judy trialled over the 425mt from box 5, weight 27.3kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.40, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 11L. Judge Judy was cleared.
