A pre-race sample was taken from Hello Cobber.
Noble Weetbix was slow to begin. April Jay and Noble Weetbix collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking Noble Weetbix. Hello Cobber raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight. Hello Cobber and Little Fernando collided in the home straight.
Little Fernando was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Weightman, the trainer of Little Fernando regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.
