Steward's Report
Aston Olivia faltered soon after the start and subsequently tailed off. Just Jimmy and Lucy Gem collided soon after the start causing Tolga to clip the heels of Lucy Gem. Fairytale Ending and Sambucca Rose collided on the first turn. Fairytale Ending, Sambucca Rose and I'm Livin' It collided approaching the home turn. Tolga and Lucy Gem collided approaching the home turn. Just Jimmy checked off Fairytale Ending approaching the home turn. Tolga checked off Just Jimmy on the home turn. Fairytale Ending and Sambucca Rose collided in the home straight. Tolga and Lucy Gem collided approaching the winning post.
Aston Olivia was vetted and re-vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left chest injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards advised Mr S. Kaltsis the representative of Aston Olivia to advise Stewards, as soon as practicable of other injuries that may have affected the running of this greyhound, in this event in accordance with GAR 75.
SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT:
Stewards were advised on the 5 October, 2018 by Mr S Kaltsis, the representative of Alston Olvia that upon checking the greyhound she was found to have sustained a left scapula injury.
