Steward's Report
Mr J. Clay trainer of Cosmic Sole declared a new weight of 33.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Cosmic Sole last raced at 31.9kg.

Dr. Toretto was slow to begin.
Delta's Magic, Thumb A Ride, It's Debatable and Aston Halle collided approaching the first turn checking Thumb A Ride and severely checking It's Debatable. Gone Early and Cosmic Sole collided on the first turn checking Just Teefa, Gone Early, Delta's Magic and severely checking Cosmic Sole. Cosmic Sole and Delta's Magic collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Aston Halle eased on the home turn checking Gone Early. Cosmic Sole and It's Debatable collided on the home turn checking Cosmic Sole. Just Teefa and Delta's Magic collided in the home straight checking Delta's Magic.
Stewards spoke to Mr S. Kaltsis, the trainer of the greyhound Aston Halle regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Aston Halle was vetted and re-vetted following event 12. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left pencil injury and an abrasion to the right foot, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Aston Halle with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Kaltsis pleaded guilty to the charge, Aston Halle was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
