Orange Jack, Southwood Bolt and Slick Silvie were slow to begin. Jaqui Stress faltered approaching the first turn. Orange Jack and Moonlite Spice collided on the first turn. Celebration and Southwood Bolt collided on the first turn. Mr Bo Douglas, Celebration and Southwood Bolt collided approaching the home turn checking Celebration and severely checking Southwood Bolt.
Jacqui Stress was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back muscle, a 28 stand down period was imposed.
