Bowie Boy was quick to begin. Tinker Buzz was slow to begin. Lucky Gypsy, Eden Monaro and Good One Carl collided approaching the first turn checking Eden Monaro and Good One Carl. Latinize and Bowie Boy collided on the first turn. Secret Of Mine and Latinize collided approaching the second turn. Secret Of Mine was checked off Bowie Boy on the second turn. Eden Monaro was checked off Tinker Buzz approaching the winning post.
Good One Carl was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 12, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right hock and right monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
