Our Gal Livy and Doused In Mud were slow to begin.
Rodeo and Ivey's Affair collided soon after the start. Stella View and Ivey's Affair collided on the first turn, checking Rodeo and Doused In Mud, and severely checking Stella View which lost considerable ground. Ivey's Affair and Diesel Turbo collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Our Gal Livy and Doused In Mud collided in the home straight.
Stella View was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right tensor fascia (triangle) muscle. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
