Almani Jet and Ebonique collided on the first turn, checking Almani Jet. Harper's Hand and Ebonique collided on the home turn. Evelyn Allen raced wide on the home turn. Almani Jet and Blackpool Remi collided approaching the winning post.

Cruisy's Star was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Jayanti, Water Pistol and Tuiaki Dora collided approaching the first turn, checking Water Pistol, and severely checking Tuiaki Dora. Dark Star checked off Princess Parker approaching the first turn. Aladdin Prince and Tuiaki Dora collided approaching the first turn.

Why Not Loz went with the lids at box rise, and was very slow to begin (5 lengths). Ivey's Affair raced wide on the first turn. Saintly Jack, Eau Rouge and Shannon Allen collided on the first turn. Eau Rouge and Why Not Loz collided entering the home straight. Ivey's Affair raced wide entering the home straight.

Percy's Curse and Elusive Anake were slow to begin. Leica Cali King and Stacey Keeping collided approaching the first turn. Elusive Anake checked off Jetson Princess on the first turn. Champagne Luxe and Leica Cali King collided on the first turn, checking Champagne Luxe, and causing Leica Cali King to fall, severely checking Stacey Keeping and Why Not Hugh as a result. 

Leica Cali King was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left wrist. No stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Chief's Sidekick.

Undisputed and Aston Kimetto were slow to begin. Undisputed and Quavo collided on the first turn. Chief's Sidekick lost ground approaching the second turn. Lance Allen and Squishy Pea collided entering the back straight. Destini Cavalier and Lance Allen collided on the third turn. Aston Kimetto checked off Destini Cavalier on the third turn. Chief's Sidekick checked off Quavo on the third turn. Lance Allen checked off Squishy Pea approaching the home turn, checking Quavo. Destini Cavalier and Lance Allen collided on the home turn. Lance Allen and Quavo collided entering the home straight. Lance Allen and Aston Kimetto collided approaching the winning post. 

Chief's Sidekick was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hip, left calf and right sesamoid, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Midnight Starlet.

Mimstar, My Bro Lewis and Spring Bridge were slow to begin. Breakout and My Redeemer collided on the first turn. Spring Bridge galloped on the heels of Mimstar on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds, Spring Bridge lost ground as a result. All Dolled Up raced wide on the first turn, severely checking My Bro Lewis. 

This race was delayed by five minutes due to a fault with the starting boxes. While handlers were boxing the first line of greyhounds the door of box 6 blew shut due to high winds and became jammed.

All the greyhounds were removed from the boxes and re-vetted and passed fit to start.

Dewana Special and Mahi Indian were slow to begin. Newfire Drewie and My Alibi collided soon after the start. My Alibi checked off Newfire Drewie approaching the first turn, checking Dewana Special. Blusain Bolt and Newfire Drewie collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds, both greyhounds raced wide as a result. Dewana Special checked off Middle Trucker on the first turn. My Alibi and Mahi Indian collided on the second turn. Newfire Drewie, Dewana Special and Middle Trucker collided on the second turn, checking all three greyhounds. Newfire Drewie and Dewana Special collided on the home turn.

Chief's Empire was quick to begin. Loading Zone and Slingshot Hammer were slow to begin. Fab Reiko and Orson Allen collided soon after the start. Awesome Catch contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Orson Allen checked off Chief's Empire on the first turn. Fab Reiko and Ash Star collided on the first turn, checking Fab Reiko, Ash Star and Often Imitated. Loading Zone raced wide on the first turn. Often Imitated galloped on the heels of Ash Star approaching the second turn, and raced wide. Chief's Empire and Orson Allen collided approaching the second turn, checking Chief's Empire. Awesome Catch and Ash Star collided entering the back straight, checking Ash Star. Fab Reiko and Loading Zone collided on the third turn, checking both greyhounds. Chief's Empire contacted the running rail on the third turn. Often Imitated and Ash Star collided on the third turn. Fab Reiko, Awesome Catch and Loading Zone collided on the home turn. 

Chief's Empire was vetted and after being re-vetted following event ten, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right biceps and right monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. Darren Brown, the trainer of Chief's Empire, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn. 

Rahni was slow to begin. Penny Pop and Brandeen Bayley collided on the first turn, severely checking Brandeen Bayley, Penny Pop, Rahni and Why Not Cory, Why Not Cory fell as a result. Mustang Sammy checked off Lady Alliance on the first turn. Lady Alliance and Rhyan's Return collided in the home straight. 

Why Not Cory was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left elbow, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Marlow's Angel and Lochinvar Adore were quick to begin. No Passengers, Gomez Sanchez and Dee Dee One were slow to begin. Marlow's Angel checked off Lochinvar Adore approaching the first turn. Silvagni Cubed and Let's Run collided on the first turn. Gomez Sanchez and Dee Dee One collided on the home turn.
