Steward's Report
Chillin and Space Alert were quick to begin.
Lightning Ben and Zero To Hero collided soon after the start. Space Alert, Just Talking and Zero To Hero collided on the first turn checking Zero To Hero. Space Alert tired over the concluding stages of the race.
A post-race sample was taken from Lady Danger, winner of the event.
Stewards interviewed the return gate operator because the return gate was not closed at the correct time at the conclusion of this race. The importance and function of this role was addressed with the operator, who accepted responsibility for this error. The matter was also refferred to Club Operations.
Stewards spoke with the handler of Just Talking (8) as there was a delay with the boxing of this greyhound, with the second line. After considering the matter, the handler, Mr. Stefan Viola was directed to undertake further training with the boxing of greyhounds at public trials, before handling in races again.
