Dee Dee One and Winlock Blue Boy collided soon after the start. Diamond Bling and Spritely Star collided approaching the first turn checking Diamond Bling. I'm Orion and Tat Barbie collided approaching the first turn. Spritely Star and I'm Orion collided on the first turn checking Spritely Star. Tat Barbie raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Geoff Smith the trainer of Dee Dee One in regards to the betting activity of Dee Dee One the greyhound opened at $11 and was backed into $6.50 at race start time. Stewards referred the matter to the GRV betting analyst. A sample was taken from Dee Dee One the winner of the event.
