Steward's Report
Miss Bea and Harley Merrett were quick to begin. Mystery Jet and Atarah collided soon after the start. Miss Bea and Gold Odessa collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Bea. Mystery Jet and Atarah collided approaching the first turn. Little Red Hot and Miss Bea collided on the first turn checking Miss Bea which lost ground as a result. Little Red Hot and Victoria's Kara collided approaching the winning post.
Miss Bea underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a lost/torn left foreleg dew claw nail. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Aston Jynx- the winner of the event.
Meeting Comments:
Emgee Sprinter – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Bendigo on 17.5.19. Emgee Sprinter was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be free from injury. Emgee Sprinter was Cleared to race.
