Steward's Report
Don't Tell Ange went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Flaming Knocka and Aston Moscato collided soon after the start. Rone's Girl and Unbuckled collided approaching the first turn checking Rone's Girl. Burning Express and Chicken Twistie collided on the first turn. Flaming Knocka and Rapiid Highway collided on the first turn. Chicken Twistie galloped on the heels of Burning Express approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds. Flaming Knocka, Aston Moscato, Rapid Highway and Unbuckled collided on the home turn checking Unbuckled and Flaming Knocka and severely checking Rapid Highway. Chicken Twistie clipped the heels of Don't Tell Ange entering the home straight.
Rapid Highway underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right shin soreness and injuries to the right stifle and right triangle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Aston Moscato, winner of the event.
