Croucher, Dyna Xerox and Where's Lola were slow to begin. Dyna Xerox and Where's Lola collided soon after the start checking Dyna Xerox. Ivey's Affair raced wide on the home turn.
Sable Sass underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left chest muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
