Steward's Report

Our China Plate was slow to begin. Clovally Mansumi and Dr. Summer collided soon after the start. Blur and Succession Plan collided approaching the first turn. Cut Snake, Blur, Our China Plate, Succession Plan, Clovally Mansumi, Dr. Summer and Super Stoked collided on the first turn checking Blur, Succession Plan and Our China Plate. Clovally Mansumi and Dr. Summer collided approaching the home turn. Our China Plate and Super Stoked collided on the home turn checking Super Stoked.

Dakora underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apprent injury could be detected.

A post-race sample was taken from Dakora, winner of the event.

Meeting Comments:

The following Greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trail took place over 425mts and the winning time of trial was 24.11:

Speedy Lomar – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to being seasonal.  Weighing 27.4kg and beginning from box 1, Speedy Lomar completed the 425mt trial distance in a time of 24.38. Speedy Lomar placed 3rd in a field of 4 beaten by 4L. Speedy Lomar has been cleared to race.

Bullet Proof Ace – Performed a satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Bendigo for unsatisfactory performance. Weighing 31.0kg and beginning from box 3 winning by 2.5L. Bullet Proof Ace has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Speedy Lomar underwent a veterinary examination following the trial and no injury could be detected.
