Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Go Twenty Two.
Haunting, Soda Maxi and Spolly's Jet were quick to begin. Go Twenty Two was very slow to begin (5 lengths). Inter Phillip and Midnight Waltz collided soon after the start. Braemar Furey was checked off Spolly's Jet soon after the start. Braemar Furey faltered approaching the first turn, stumbled and lost ground. No Talking was checked off Spolly's Jet on the first turn. Haunting, Soda Maxi and No Talking collided several times on the first turn. Spolly's Jet and Inter Phillip collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Braemar Furey tailed off in the home straight.
Braemar Furey underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
