Ninetymile Turbo and Gone Early were slow to begin. John's Choice and Dr. Shreds collided soon after the start. Trey Smidge, John's Choice and Dr. Shreds collided approaching the first turn checking Trey Smidge causing John's Choice to gallop on Dr. Shreds severely checking Dr. Shreds.
