A pre-race sample was taken from Percy's Empire.
El Donberto, Yogi Mikado, Maximum Brew and Mahoney Miss collided on the first turn checkng El Donberto, Yogi Mikado and Mahoney Miss. Federal Secret raced wide on the first turn and in the front straight. Maximum Brew checked off Ash Star in the front straight. Mahoney Miss and El Donberto collided on the second turn checking Mahoney Miss. Yogi Mikado checked off Mahoney Miss approaching the third turn. Ash Star, Percy's Empire and Connor Allen collided on the home turn. Ash Star, Maximum Brew and Percy's Empire collided entering the home straight.
Federal Secret was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 11. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back muscle, right hamstrings and left calf muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
