Wise Lewis was slow to begin.  Wolf Point and Chill Out Webby collided soon after the start.  Kiss Me Nicki and Banjo Fever collided soon after the start.  Wolf Point, Wise Lewis, Kiss Me Nicki and Dashing Dino collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds.  Wise Lewis, Kiss Me Nicki and Dashing Dino collided approaching the second turn checking Wise Lewis and Dashing Dino.

Expense Eve and Ashwood were quick to begin.  Glorious was slow to begin.  Ballistic Yaala and Julana collided approaching the first turn.  Expense Eve, Beatrice and Super Blu collided on the first turn checking Ballistic Yaala, Expense Eve, Julana, Beatrice, Super Blu and One Step Forward.  Expense Eve checked off Glorious on the second turn checking Super Blu.  Super Blu checked off Julana entering the back straight.  Julana marred Ballistic Yaala entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Julana was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative, Mr N. Massina.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Julana was charged with marring. Mr Massina pleaded guilty to the charge, Julana was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Black Mumbo was quick to begin.  Mepunga Pride and Lektra Zephyr were slow to begin.  Dyna Harpa and Dyna Aakil collided soon after the start.  Rixy Ya Pest and Dyna Harpa collided approaching the first turn.  Rixy Ya Pest, Dyna Harpa and Mepunga Pride collided on the first turn checking Dyna Harpa.  Dyna Aakil, Are You and Lektra Zephyr collided on the first turn checking Are You and Lektra Zephyr.  Mepunga Pride and Dyna Garner collided approaching the second turn.  Mepunga Pride checked off Lektra Zephyr approaching the second turn.  Dyna Harpa and Dyna Garner collided approaching the winning post.

Apex Within and Never Duplicated were quick to begin.  Apex Within, Reiko Ablett, Rollin' With It, She Will Bloom and Never Duplicated collided on the first turn checking Reiko Ablett, Rollin' With It, She Will Bloom and Never Duplicated, severely checking Apex Within and She's A Mitzi.  Chill Out Al and Never Duplicated collided approaching the second turn.  She Will Bloom eased approaching the third turn.

She Will Bloom was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr B. Pursell, Trainer of She Will Bloom.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), She Will Bloom was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Pursell pleaded guilty to the charge, She Will Bloom was found to be guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mepunga Molly was slow to begin.  Roger Express and Aston It Is collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Mepunga Molly, Roger Express and Aston It Is collided on the first turn checking Mepunga Molly and Roger Express.  Aston It Is checked off Dyna Bonnay on the first turn.  Dyna Smokey and Dyna Bonnay collided on the home turn.

Federal Secret was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 11.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back muscle, right hamstrings and left calf muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Maximum Tiff crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Gunmetal Liam, Cee Jay Ace, Miss Dee Meadows and Sparkling Jewel.  Gunmetal Liam checked off Miss Dee Meadows on the first turn and collided with Canya Jake.  Cee Jay Ace and Dyna Kara collided approaching the second turn.  Maximum Tiff and Arch Rival collided on the third turn, checking Arch Rival, and severely checking Maximum Tiff which contacted the running rail.
