Steward's Report
Expense Eve and Ashwood were quick to begin. Glorious was slow to begin. Ballistic Yaala and Julana collided approaching the first turn. Expense Eve, Beatrice and Super Blu collided on the first turn checking Ballistic Yaala, Expense Eve, Julana, Beatrice, Super Blu and One Step Forward. Expense Eve checked off Glorious on the second turn checking Super Blu. Super Blu checked off Julana entering the back straight. Julana marred Ballistic Yaala entering the home straight and again in the home straight.
Julana was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr N. Massina. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Julana was charged with marring. Mr Massina pleaded guilty to the charge, Julana was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
