Darnum Dasher – Late scratching at 8.32am when the trainer reported the greyhound had an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Blue Hazard and Distracted were slow to begin.
Renita Bale and Tessa Allen collided approaching the first turn. Cutlass checked off Dazzling Bling on the first turn. Tessa Allen and Distracted collided entering the front straight. Tahbilk, Blue Hazard, Tessa Allen and Distracted collided on the second turn checking Blue Hazard. Distracted checked off Blue Hazard on the home turn.
