Destini Florida checked off Aston Xanadu soon after the start checking Turn Him Around. Got It Right checked off Arashundi soon after the start. Arashundi checked off Aston Xanadu at the 300m mark checking Got It Right and Destini Florida. Got It Right faltered approaching the 150m mark and lost ground. Destini Cowboy crossed to the outside approaching the 150m mark checking Aston Xanadu.
Got It Right underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 7. Got it Right was found to have injuries to the left calf and the left quadricep. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
