Tigga Toy was quick to begin.
Bruree Boy came out of the boxes awkwardly and was very slow to begin (3L).
Mindy's Girl, Trophy Trophy and What's His Caper collided soon after the start. Mindy's Girl crossed to the outside at the 300m mark checking Bring The Spring and severely checking Trophy Trophy and What's His Caper. Trophy Trophy and What's His Caper collided at the 200m mark checking What's His Caper. Stewards noted that the muzzle of Trophy Trophy became partially dislodged during the running of this event.
A post-race sample was taken from Tigga Toy - the winner of the event.
What's His Caper underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness to the left hamstring and the right pencil muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Bruree Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
