Steward's Report
Dolly Mac – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a right scapula injury.
Priority Pass was quick to begin.
Dolly Mac and Spearhead collided soon after the start. Lightning Blast, Spearhead, Dolly Mac and Lava You Beauty collided approaching the first turn checking Spearhead. Priority Pass, Lava You Beauty, Lightning Blast and Origami Angel collided on the first turn checking Spearhead, Lightning Blast, Origami Angel and severely checking Priority Pass and Lava You Beauty, Priority Pass stumbled and lost ground as a result. Jaro Bale and Sennachie collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Origami Angel checked off Sennachie entering the back straight. Spearhead and Origami Angel collided in the back straight. Lightning Blast checked off Sennachie on the home turn.
Priority Pass underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration and spike wounds to the left and right hinds. No Stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Dolly Mac - winner of the event.
