Prince Planet, Leon Bale, Vivatar, Courting and Riley's Paige collided soon after the start.  Prince Planet, Leon Bale and Vivatar collided approaching the first turn checking Leon Bale.  Federal Impact, Prince Planet, Vivatar and Riley's Paige collided on the first turn checking Vivatar and Courting.  Courting checked off Leon Bale approaching the home turn.  

Federal Impact underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Prince Planet and issued a warning after failing to follow the starters direction to ensure that the greyhounds are placed in the boxes in the correct order.  GAR 51(10)(a).

A sample was taken from Aston Vanquish at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today.

Embossed, Aston Vanquish and More Donuts were slow to begin.

Duke Of Airly checked off Dyna Unther on the first turn checking Embossed and Prancing Turbo.  Duke Of Airly and Embossed collided apporaching the second turn checking Duke Of Airly and severely checking Embossed.  More Donuts checked off Aston Vanquish on the second turn.  Duke Of Airly and Embossed collided on the third turn.  Prancing Turbo checked off Embossed entering the home straight.

A sample was taken from Premier Sticka at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today. 

Premier Sticka, Ma's Plum Jam, Ask Me Now, Zipping Norton and He's For Me collided soon after the start checking Ma's Plum Jam, Zipping Norton and severely checking Ask Me Now.  Premier Sticka and He's For Me collided on the first turn.  Ma's Plum Jam and Zipping Norton collided on the first turn.  Lucy's Milo and Charging Yaala collided approaching the second turn.  Lilywhites and Ma's Plum Jam collided approaching the second turn causing Ma's Plum Jam and Zipping Norton to collide, severely checking both greyhounds.  Lilywhites checked off Premier Sticka on the third turn checking He's For Me.

Dolly Mac – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a right scapula injury.

Priority Pass was quick to begin.  

Dolly Mac and Spearhead collided soon after the start.  Lightning Blast, Spearhead, Dolly Mac and Lava You Beauty collided approaching the first turn checking Spearhead.  Priority Pass, Lava You Beauty, Lightning Blast and Origami Angel collided on the first turn checking Spearhead, Lightning Blast, Origami Angel and severely checking Priority Pass and Lava You Beauty, Priority Pass stumbled and lost ground as a result.  Jaro Bale and Sennachie collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Origami Angel checked off Sennachie entering the back straight.  Spearhead and Origami Angel collided in the back straight.  Lightning Blast checked off Sennachie on the home turn.  

Priority Pass underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration and spike wounds to the left and right hinds. No Stand down period was imposed.

Water Colour was slow to begin.

It's A Frenzy, Dewana Special, Water Colour, and Waleonjon collided soon after the start checking Water Colour. Sisco Ride, Dyna Chancer and Waleonjon collided on the first turn. Sisco Ride and Dyna Chancer collided entering the front straight. It's A Frenzy and Dewana Special collided entering the front straight and again in the front straight checking both greyhounds. Dyna Chancer and Waleonjon collided on the second turn. It's A Frenzy checked off Ash Star on the second turn. Sisco Ride checked off Waleonjon entering the back straight. It's A Frenzy raced wide in the back straight. Slinky Inky checked off Dewana Special on the fourth turn checking Sisco Ride, causing It's A Frenzy to fall. Ash Star and Waleonjon collided approaching the home turn. 

It's A Frenzy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both deltoids, both pencil muscles and spikes wound to both hind legs. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Seal The Deal and Max Tractor collided soon after the start. Rockstar Prince and Olson Bale collided soon after the start. Olson Bale, Showgirl Queen and Max Tractor collided on the first turn checking Showgirl Queen, Max Tractor and Red Hot Chevy, Max Tractor raced wide as a result. Showgirl Queen and Red Hot Chevy collided approaching the second turn checking Showgirl Queen and Max Tractor, Red Hot Chevy fell as a result. Curnow Keats checked off Seal The Deal on the third turn.

Red Hot Chevy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both deltoids and both trapezius muscles. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
