Straitline Willy – Late scratching at 6.21am when Trainer Bill McMahon reported the greyhound had a back muscle injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Pandaken and Kiss Me Razley were slow to begin.
Kiss Me Razley and Why Not Lola approaching the first turn. Mercedes Red checked off Jokare on the first turn checking It's A Thrill, Why Not Lola, Riviera Cruz and Kiss Me Razley. Why Not Lola checked off Jokare approaching the second turn and stumbled. It's A Thrill and Riviera Cruz collided on the home turn.
