Destini Jaguar, Midnight Marzy, Sunita Lass and Quiet Please were slow to begin.
It's A Treat stumbled at box rise and crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Super Atitude. Liam Roxon crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Midnight Marzy, Sunita Lass and Quiet Please. Titanium Boy checked off Super Attitude approaching the first turn. Titanium Boy checked off Midnight Marzy approaching the first turn. Quiet Please and It's A Treat collided approaching the turn. Titanium Boy and Sunita Lass collided entering the back straight and again on the third turn checking Titanium Boy. Midnight Marzy and It's A Treat collided on the third turn checking Midnight Marzy. Sunita Lass and Destini Jaguar collided on the home turn.
Titanium Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left pencil muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
