Steward's Report
Disco Hips and Bush Song were quick to begin. Dream Gem and Bolta Neveelk collided soon after the start. Dobre and Bolta Neveelk collided approaching the first turn. Dream Gem and Bolta Neveelk collided on the first turn checking Bolta Neveelk. Dream Gem and Dobre collided on the home turn. Disco Heaps eased entering the home straight and collided with Bush Song. Disco Hips marred Bush Song approaching the winning post.
Disco Hips underwent a post-race examination and was found to have a left hind sand toe injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the trainer, Mr. J. Absalom, regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Disco Hip-s was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Absalom pleaded guilty to the charge, Disco Hips must perform a Satisfctory Trial (all tracks) pursunt to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
