Dailly, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Orina Allen was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Orina Allen must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Franki Jay underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have splike wounds to the left paw and right hindleg. No stand down period was imposed.

It's A Treat underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left shoulder and left pectoral muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms N. Perkins , regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), It's A Treat was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Perkins pleaded guilty to the charge, It's A Treat must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dyna Virion, Fawn Regrets, Dyna Saurus and Lonesomeness were slow to begin.

Trainer Nicole Stanley was questioned regarding the nomination and scratching of Joshy Wink Wink in this event. After considering the explanations provided on the night and material presented subsequently, Stewards accepted Ms. Stanley’s explanation.  Whilst acknowledging Joshy Wink Wink was outclassed for this event, Stewards were satisfied that the greyhound was adequately prepared to compete. Ms Stanley further stated that connections intend to nominate Joshy Wink Wink for a similar distance event in the near future.
