Big Sam Marjen and Heza Real Deal were quick to begin. Main One was slow to begin.
Clovally Granite and Southwood Ace collided on the first turn and again entering the back straight. Peter Yap checked off Maximum Brew in the back straight. Maximum Brew and Heza A Real Deal collided on the third turn and again in the back straight.
Clovally Granite underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock laceration. A 5 stand down period was imposed.
