Raging Roy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg monkey and left hindleg pencil/whip injuries.  A 10 stand down period was imposed.

Mr Clint Capuano was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Frizzled pursuant to GAR 33.

Work Zone was slow to begin. 

Honey Eclipse checked off Barinya soon after the start.  New Wave, Someone Blue, Honey Eclipse and Frizzled collided soon after the start, checking New Wave, Someone Blue and Honey Eclipse.  Frizzled, Hornet Hudson, Zipping Ester and Work Zone collided on the first turn, checking Work Zone; severely checking Hornet Hudson and Zipping Ester, which raced wide as a result.  New Wave and Someone Blue collided on the home turn.  Honey Eclipse and Frizzled collided approaching the winning post.

Hornet Hudson underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hindleg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Ester underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Compounding – Not raced for in excess of three months and is returning to racing from a fractured right hock.

Golden Sunrise – Not raced for in excess of three months and is returning to racing following a change of kennel.

Compounding checked off Golden Sunrise approaching the first turn.  Lulumon, Bakali Louis, Golden Sunrise and Time Saver collided on the first turn, checking Bakali Louis, Golden Sunrise and Time Saver.  Bakali Louis and Time Saver collided several times approaching the home turn.

Compounding, which performed below market expectations, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.  Trainer, Mr Michael Bewley stated he was disappointed with the greyhound's performance and further stated that it was the greyhound's first start at the track and he would expect Compounding to benefit from today's outing.

Chapta Lee was quick to begin.  Bob's Hammer, Little Red Hot, Silver Cupcake and Whitehart Magic collided approaching the first turn, checking Little Red Hot and Silver Cupcake.  Bob's Hammer and Whitehart Magic collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Chapta Lee, Hammer Red and Pure Cool Titan collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight, checking Hammer Red.  Hammer Red and Silver Cupcake collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr David Gehan, in that he failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound Chapta Lee. 

Chief's Empire – Not raced for in excess of three months and is returning to racing from a left hock injury.

A pre-race sample was taken from Chief's Empire.

Bank Rogue checked off Hannibal Spectre soon after the start.  Hannibal Spectre checked off Nut And Bolt on the first turn, checking Bank Rogue.  Pyrenees Petraca checked off Nut And Bolt in the home straight.

An out of competition sample was taken from Zipping Simon on 7 March 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Dyna Sarah was slow to begin. 

High Tenacity checked off Vanzant soon after the start.  Vanzant checked off Liscoyle Lass approaching the first turn.  Dyna Sarah, Banjo Fever and Pure Profit collided on the first turn, checking Banjo Fever.  Vanzant raced wide in the home straight.

Banjo Fever underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wounds to the left and right hindlegs.  No stand down period was imposed.

Why Not Kez was quick to begin. 

Big Dance went up with the lids and lost ground.  Black Lazarus checked off I'm All One on the first turn and collided with King Lorrimer.  Black Lazarus checked off Diesel's A Rebel on the first turn.  Saint Ray and I'm All One collided approaching the winning post.

Black Lazarus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Big Casey and Just Nimble It collided on the first turn.  Just Nimble It checked off Big Casey on the home turn.  Tyson's A Rebel and Onions O'Reilly collided entering the home straight, checking Tyson's A Rebel.

Destini Cheetah was quick to begin.  Avatar Maximus was slow to begin. 

Iona Fire, Johnnie Red and Fawn Pursuit collided approaching the first turn, checking Johnnie Red.  Iona Fire checked off Fawn Pursuit on the first turn and collided with Johnnie Red, severely checking Iona Fire and Johnnie Red.  Destini Cheetah and Supraspinatus collided on the first turn, checking Destini Cheetah.  Fawn Pursuit checked off Supraspinatus approaching the home turn.  Avatar Maximus checked off Destini Cheetah on the home turn and collided with Supraspinatus and Fawn Pursuit.  Destini Cheetah and Avatar Maximus collided in the home straight, checking Destini Cheetah.

Wise Lewis, Quando Quando and Lilly An' Page collided soon after the start, checking Quando Quando.  Quando Quando raced wide approaching the home turn.  Wise Lewis checked off Opal Heist approaching the home turn.  Wise Lewis raced wide in the home straight.

Quando Quando underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abdominal muscle injury.  A seven stand down period was imposed.

Following Race 9 it was noticed that the kennel bay for Race 11 had been locked and padlocked, however the security seal had not been attached.  As the kennel bay was locked and monitored by closed circuit cameras, Stewards were satisfied that no security breach had occurred. A security seal was applied prior to the running of Race 11.

Crymelon Idol – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a right back muscle injury.  Weighing 32.8 kgs and beginning from box one, Crymelon Idol completed the 410m trial distance in a time of 23:98.  Crymelon Idol placed fourth in a field of four beaten by 4.25 lengths.  Crymelon Idol has been cleared to race.
