La Coconut and Campbell Rose were quick to begin. Banjo's Ghost went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
La Coconut faltered approaching the first turn and lost ground. War Creek and Gin Lee's Baby collided approaching the first turn. War Creek checked off Gin Lee's Baby on the first turn. Campbell Rose checked off Gin Lee's Baby approaching the home turn causing War Creek and Gin Lee's Baby to collide. Banjo's Ghost raced wide on the home turn. Sabakat and Gin Lee's Baby collided entering the home straight.
La Coconut was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle injury, a 60 stand down period was imposed.
