A pre-race sample was taken from Fire And Smoke.
Dyna Chancer and Fire And Smoke collided approaching the first turn. Fire And Smoke faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off as a result. Dyna Chancer, Cavatron and Roger Express collided on the first turn. Duce Royal and Roger Express collided on the home turn. Duce Royal faded in the home straight.
Fire And Smoke was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left hindleg track leg, right hindleg groin and pelvic injuries, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Samples were taken from the placegetters - Blue Striker (1st) and Dyna Chancer (2nd).
