Meeting Comments:
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this Meeting was deemed Heat Affected. The outside temperature at start of kennelling was 36 degrees, the inside kennel temperature was 18.6 degrees.
When the greyhounds were retrieved for this event, the kennel temperature was 17.6 degrees.
Curnow Keats and Dyna Waqa collided soon after the start. Yongning and Dyna Quark collided soon after the start checking Dyna Quark and Out Break. Saint West, Curnow Keats and Dyna Waqa collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Varsity and Yongning collided approaching the first turn checking Yongning. Dyna Varsity, Saint West and Curnow Keats collided on the first turn checking Saint West and Vanna Allen. Dyna Varsity and Curnow Keats collided on the first turn checking Dyna Varsity. Dyna Quark and Dyna Waqa collided on the first turn. Yongning contacted the running rail on the first turn. Dyna Quark checked off Curnow Keats approaching the second turn and collided with Dyna Waqa. Out Break checked off Dyna Quark entering the back straight and collided with Dyna Waqa, checking both greyhounds. Out Break and Saint West collided in the back straight checking Out Break.
