Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Harper, the trainer of Colorado regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Colorado last raced on 28th September, 2018.  Mr. Harper stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a left stopper injury.

Damnation, Going In Style and Cross Threaded were slow to begin.  Dream Gem, Layback Cruiser and Jacqui Shoshone collided approaching the first turn checking Dream Gem and Layback Cruiser and causing Jacqui Shoshone to stumble and lose considerable ground as a result.  Dream Gem, Layback Cruiser and Colorado collided approaching the home turn checking Dream Gem.

Premier Jess, Zipping Lucky and All About Arby collided approaching the first turn checking All About Arby.  My Logan Leigh, Cosmic Collinda, Velocity Whisper and Lucy Gem collided on the first turn checking My Logan Leigh.  Premier Jess raced wide approaching the home turn.  My Logan Leigh, Velocity Whisper and Zipping Lucky collided approaching the home turn.  Hypo Chared and Premier Jess collided in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Johannsen, the trainer of Racey Rose regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Racey Rose last raced on 17th June, 2018.  Mr. Johannsen stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a left front toe injury and being on season.  Pursuant to GAR 77A Racey Rose trialled over the 440m from box 1, weight 27.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5  The time of the trial was 25.45,  the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.75 lengths.  Racey Rose was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Cee Mee Shine trialled over the 440m from box 8, weight 27.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5.  The time of the trial was 25.45,  the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.25 lengths.  Cee Mee Shine was Cleared all tracks except Sandown.
