Great Success and Kirabilli Poppy collided soon after the start. Maximum Tiff, Kirabilli Poppy and Great Success collided approaching the first turn checking all 3 greyhounds. Kirabilli Poppy galloped on Chasing James on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Great Success checked off Fast Trapper on the first turn checking Banjo Fever and Maximum Tiff. Kirabilli Poppy and Great Success collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Great Success was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms. M. Shaw, the representative of the Great Success and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.
