Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr D. Ferguson, the trainer of Cosmic Fox regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Cosmic Fox last raced on 23 Oct 18. Mr Ferguson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to the left hindleg (tibia).
A pre-race sample was taken from Smart Knocka.
Cosmic Fox was quick to begin. Fat Rhino was slow to begin.
Smart Knocka and Cosmic Fox collided approaching the first turn, checking Cosmic Fox. Tom Riddle and Nitro Value collided on the first turn, checking Nitro Value and Who's Got Class. Fat Rhino and Nitro Value collided approaching the home turn, checking Nitro Value. Nitro Value clipped the heels of Cosmic Fox entering the home straight causing Cosmic Fox to stumble.
