Steward's Report
Crackerjack Roy was a late scratching at 5:25pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration on the left shoulder. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Hardy's Banjo was a late scratching at 5:57pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a papilloma on the left hind foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this event was deemed Heat Affected. The outside temperature before race 6 was 28.8 degrees, the inside kennel temperature was 18.7 degrees and the humidity was 57.3%.
A pre race sample was taken from Mustang Bay.
Oshkosh Jay was quick to begin. Emgee Sprinter was slow to begin. Vintage Storm and Haddi Bale collided approaching the first turn. Vintage Storm, Emgee Sprinter and Haddi Bale collided on the first turn checking Vintage Storm. Oshkosh Jay and Why Not Archie collided appraoching the home turn checking Why Not Archie. Emgee Sprinter and Mustang Bay collided entering the home straight.
