A pre race sample was taken from Major Gas.
Tat Loxy and Jack's On Deck collided soon after the start checking Tat Loxy. Compsognathus brushed the running rail approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result. Jack's On Deck and Major Gas collided approaching the first turn checking Compsognathus. Doc Nam and Compsognathus collided approaching the home turn checking Compsognathus. Chillby and Compsognathus collided on the home turn. She's A Rebel raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight.
Compsognathus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left scapula, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
