Belena Bold, Sports Gairn, Charlotte Allen collided soon after the start checking Belena Bold which lost ground as a result and was tailed off. Why Not Archie and Clavash collided approaching the first turn checking Clavash and Leeroy Rox. Charlotte Allen checked off the heels of Leeroy Rox approaching the home turn. Just Like Didda and Why Not Archie raced wide on the home turn.
Belena Bold was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a injury to the right back muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
