Steward's Report
The outside temperature at race start time was 30.7 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to the race when the greyhounds were retrieved was 21.0 degrees.
A pre-race sample was taken from Lockrod.
Major Innings was slow to begin.
Kiss Me Razley and Lockrod collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Kiss Me Razley, Lockrod and Our Didda collided on the first turn severely checking Our Didda which fell checking Lockrod and Sure To Excite. Kiss Me Razley and Lockrod collided on the second turn checking Lockrod.
Our Didda was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
