Acer and Hot Dot Two collided soon after the start.  Yuken Win galloped on Lightfoot Lass soon after the start and again on the first turn, Lightfoot Lass lost ground as a result.  Dewana Rocket raced wide entering the home straight.

Dewana Rocket was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound has a suspected dislocation of the right hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr J. McIntyre, trainer of Ripplebrook Ben declared a new weight of 35.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Ripplebrrok Ben last raced at 34.2kgs.

Stealthy Flight was slow to begin.

Belle Licious and Dreamliner collided soon after the start checking Belle Licious.  Angie and National Girl collided approaching the first turn checking Angie which lost considerable ground. Angie, Belle Licious and Stealthy Flight collided on the first turn.  Belle Licious clipped the heels of Dreamliner in the home straight.

Mrs K. Minne, trainer of Hashtag Spolly declared a new weight of 35.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Hashtag Spolly last raced at 33.4kgs.

Hurricane Billie was slow to begin.

Destiny's Child and Gypsy Kiowa collided soon after the start.  Hurricane Billie crossed in approaching the first turn checking Spectator and Mt. View Gift.  Spectator and Hashtag Spolly collided on the first turn.  Destiny's Child and Mt. View Gift collided approaching the home turn.  Gypsy Kiowa, Bye Bye Brad and Hurricane Billie collided approaching the winning post.  

Stewards spoke to Mrs V. Sultana, the trainer of the greyhound Hurricane Billie regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Hurricane Billie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a mild abrasion to the left thigh, no stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Hurricane Billie with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs Sultana pleaded not guilty to the charge, Hurricane Billie was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

I'll Swap Ya was a late scratching at 8.11am due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Mr L. Russell was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound Airly With Grace pursuant to GAR 33.

Shooters Ali was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a mild abrasion to the right lateral, above the hock, no stand down period was imposed.

Ball Bearing was a late scratching at 9.32am due to Stewards Non-Penalty.

A pre-race sample was taken from Voluptuous Dot.

Lock Pepper and Gone Early were slow to begin.

Voluptuous Dot and Lireva collided soon after the start checking Voluptuous Dot.  Double Black and Lock Pepper collided approaching the first turn.  Raloo Barbara, Double Black, Lock Pepper and Weeona Paul collided on the first turn severely checking Lock Pepper, Weeona Paul and causing Gone Early to race wide.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Collyer, the trainer of the greyhound Lireva regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Lireva was vetted following the event.   Mr Collyer declined a re-vet.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a mild abrasion to the right front toe, no stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Lireva with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Collyer pleaded not guilty to the charge, Lireva was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tarquin Bob was slow to begin.

Shogun Sammy stumbled approaching the first turn.  Veetee Mist and She's Got Dash collided on the first turn checking Veetee Mist.  All About Arby faltered on the first turn and tailed off.  Mandela Sun and Shogun Sammy collided approaching the home turn.  Primrose Diamond, Mandela Sun and Shogun Sammy collided in the home straight checking Mandella Sun and Shogun Sammy.  Veetee Mist raced wide in the home straight. 

All About Arby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Shogun Sammy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right back pad, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
