Steward's Report
Gotta Bandit was slow to begin.
Warrion Warrior and Dyna Hinkley collided soon after the start. Warrion Warrior and Dyna Hinkley collided on the home turn, checking Dyna Hinkley. Base Camp failed to pursue the lure on the home turn and collided with My Name's Barry. My Name's Barry. Base Camp and Gotta Bandit collided in the home straight, checking Base Camp.
Stewards spoke to Mr D Pell, the trainer of the greyhound Base Camp regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Base Camp was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both Sartorious muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Base Camp with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Pell pleaded guilty to the charge, Base Camp was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
