Oddjob Lad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right trapezius muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Ruby's Boy was slow to begin.

By Your Side, Bintang Bullet and Out Break collided soon after the start.  Bintang Bullet and Out Break collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Caesar, Living Daylights, Out Break and Bintang Bullet collided approaching the first turn severely checking Out Break and Bintang Bullet who both fell, and severely checking Ruby's Boy who avoided the fallen greyhounds.

Ruby's Boy was vetted and revetted following race 4.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left sesamoid, left pencil and triangle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Out Break was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Bintang Bullet was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the right hind paw, however no stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Jimbo's Sox - the 2nd placegetter of the event.

Disgruntled and Crackerjack Cash collided soon after the start checking Crackerjack Cash.  Bobbie Cristalle and Akina Blitz collided soon after the start checking Akina Blitz.  Crackerjack Cash checked off Bobbie Cristalle approaching the first turn checking Akina Blitz.  Ebony Gem and Disgruntled collided on the first turn.  Bush Song checked off Black Hornet on the first turn.  Extreme Summer and Ebony Gem collided on the second turn checking Extreme Summer and Bobbie Cristalle.  Crackerjack Cash and Bobbie Cristalle collided approaching the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Akina Blitz checked off Crackerjack Cash on the third turn.

Bobbie Cristalle was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right sesamoid, right trapezius and left toe injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Cabin Fever and Destini Jaguar were slow to begin.

Jetyra Buckskin and Star Reiko collided soon after the start.  Jetyra Buckskin checked off Star Reiko approaching the first turn.  Telegraph Road checked off Star Reiko approaching the first turn.  Cabin Fever checked off Telegraph Road approaching the third turn.

Krabi stumbled at the start.  Pandaken faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off.  Krabi checked off Dyna Carmen entering the back straight.

Pandaken was vetted and revetted following race 8.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey, right trapezius, right triangle & whip muscles, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

So It Goes and Three Scoops were slow to begin.

Goldenpaw Lad, Unmistakable and Ayo Joy collided approaching the first turn checking Ayo Joy and Unmistakable.  Peppertide and Just Nimble It collided on the first turn.  Peppertide raced wide on the second turn forcing Just Nimble It to race wider.  Zipping Hazel checked off Goldenpaw Lad on the forth turn.   Goldenpaw Lad and Unmistakable collided approaching the home turn.  Zipping Hazel checked off Goldenpaw Lad approaching the home turn.  Three Scoops checked off Goldenpaw Lad on the home turn checking Zipping Hazel.

Reign Of Omar, Zipping Bolt, Pierce Bale and Mr. Moonlight were slow to begin.

Where's Lola and Reign Of Omar collided entering the back straight.  Where's Lola and Reign Of Omar collided on the third turn checking Reign Of Omar.  Full Of Weetbix raced wide approaching the third turn to approaching the home turn forcing Zipping Bolt to race wider.

Stewards spoke to Mrs B. Breen, the trainer of the greyhound Full Of Weetbix regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the turn off the back straight. Full Of Weetbix was vetted and re-vetted following race 10. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left sesamoid injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Full Of Weetbix with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs Breen pleaded guilty to the charge. Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sarah Smirnoff was vetted following the event at the trainers request. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A pre-race sample was taken from Lucky Millie.

Lucky Millie, Big Deal and Weetbix Bites collided soon after the start.  Akina Cosmo and Weetbix collided soon after the start.  Lucky Millie and Big Deal collided approaching the first turn.  Weetbix Bites checked off Akina Cosmo approaching the first turn causing Akina Cosmo to check off Vens Revenge and causing Big Deal to race wide.  Akina Cosmo and Big Deal collided entering the back straight.  Lucky Millie checked off Big Deal in the back straight.  Come Home, Akina Cosmo and Big Deal collided approaching the home turn checking Big Deal and Come Home.  Lucky Millie checked off Big Deal on the home turn.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Poison Gas.

Zanzeedoo crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Cosmic Ollie and Blistering Betty collided approaching the first turn causing Blistering Betty to fall, checking Cosmic Ollie,Track Of Time hurdled Blistering Betty as a result.  Zanzeedoo turned its head outwards towards the fallen greyhound and collided with Cosmic Ollie checking both greyhounds.  Zipping Dion and Poison Gas collided in the back straight.

Blistering Betty was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right trapezius and left triangle muscles, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Upon reviewing the available footage Stewards we’re satisfied Zanzeedoo turned its head outwards towards the fallen greyhound as such no action was taken.

Markinch Maid was slow to begin.

Sweet Sparkle and Dyna Kara collided soon after the start.  Markinch Maid checked off Dyna Kara soon after the start checking Markinch Maid which lost ground as a result.  You Rippa Pippa and Libby's Dream collided approaching the first turn.  Cloona Lass and Valencia Gem collided on the first turn.  You Rippa Pippa and Libby's Dream collided on the first turn.  Dyna Kara checked off Sweet Sparkle on the first turn.  You Rippa Pippa and Libby's Dream collided in the back straight checking both greyhounds.  Cloona Lass checked off Valencia Gem on the third turn.   You Rippa Pippa and Libby's Dream collided approaching the home turn.  You Rippa Pippa checked off Libby's Dream in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Bonnie Beauty trialled over the 595 metres from box 3, weight 27.3kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 34.24, the greyhound won a margin of 7.5 lengths. Bonnie Beauty was Cleared.
