A pre race sample was taken from Hail Storm.
Franki Jay and Yaala Eclipse were slow to begin.
Fortnight Addict and Dyna Cortina collided soon after the start checking Dyna Cortina. Hail Storm and Maximum Kobi collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Yaala Eclipse contacted the running rail on the first turn. Fortnight Addict raced wide on the home turn. Fortnight Addict, Franki Jay and Dyna Cortina raced wide in the home straight.
A sample was taken from Dyna Cortina – unplaced in the event.
Yaala Eclipse was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
