Little Black Joe was quick to begin. Cinnamon Rose, Kraken Katie and Kadalex Kid collided on the first turn, checking Kraken Katie. Little Big Shot, Little Black Joe and Subconscious collided on the second turn, checking Little Big Shot. Little Big Shot clipped the heels of Bound After Gold in the home straight.

Krabi was quick to begin. Placid Murphy was slow to begin. Orleans and Goldenpaw Lad collided on the first turn, checking Orleans. Krabi and Ah Sugar Sugar collided on the second turn. 

John's Last was a late scratching at 9:06am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Graeme Jose was fined the sum of $100. 

Dragonstone and Hodge's Lane were quick to begin. I'm Tipping Don, Base Camp and Magic Shianne collided soon after the start, checking Magic Shianne. Hodge's Lane, Dragonstone and Flying Apollo collided on the first turn, severely checking Dragonstone. Hodge's Lane and Flying Apollo collided approaching the home turn. I'm Tipping Don galloped on the heels of Hodge's Lane on the home turn, causing Hodge's Lane to fall. Dragonstone and Atlas Shiralee collided entering the home straight, checking Atlas Shiralee. 

Hodge's Lane was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey injury and abrasions to the right fore paw, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

See Ya Mate and You Blue were quick to begin. Bintang Bullet, Rocket Strike, Nellie Shan and How High Jazz collided on the first turn, checking Rocket Strike. Kraken Dust and Keisha's Boy collided on the first turn, checking Keisha's Boy. You Blue and See Ya Mate collided on the second turn. How High Jazz and Nellie Shan collided approaching the home turn, checking Nellie Shan. Kraken Dust and Bintang Bullet collided approaching the home turn, checking Bintang Bullet. Kraken Dust raced wide on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Kraken Dust, You Blue and See Ya Mate collided several times in the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to trainer John Mangion regarding the greyhound, See Ya Mate racing manners approaching in the home straight. Mr Mangoin stated that the other two greyhounds on the inside of See Ya Mate were moving out as his greyhound was moving in, causing them to collide Stewards noted Mr Mangions' comments and all available side on and head on footage and no further action.

Sonny Micawber was slow to begin. She's An Earn, Zharnel, Prince Mark and Succession Plan collided soon after the start, checking She's An Earn, Prince Mark and Succession Plan. Sonny Micawber, Succession Plan and Disco Lemonade collided approaching the home turn. She's An Earn and Sonny Micawber collided entering the home straight. Succession Plan and Disco Lemonade collided in the home straight. 

Stewards issued a warning to Mr Luke Harris, the handler of Disco Lemonade regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in home straight.
