Cee Bay was slow to begin. Vanna Allen and Bowled Harro collided soon after the start. Cee Bay and All Rise collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. All Rise contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Ashby Quick, Vanna Allen and Bowled Harro collided on the first turn, checking Vanna Allen and Bowled Harro. Cee Bay checked off Vanna Allen approaching the home turn and galloped on the heels of Bowled Harro, severely checking Cee Bay and Bowled Harro. All Rise and Cee Bay collided on the home turn. All Rise and Bowled Harro collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr A.Graham the trainer of Cee Bay regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Stewards took into consideration the severe interference the greyhound received, all available footage and took no further action. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Craig Elliott, the trainer of the greyhound All Rise regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. All Rise was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left achilles and left metatarsal, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged All Rise with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Elliott pleaded guilty to the charge, All Rise was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Speedy Deneholme a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Zambora Club and Cloona Reward were slow to begin. Rando Allen and Moonie Cyclone collided soon after the start. Crackejack Scot and Cloona Reward collided approaching the first turn. Zambora Club and Thomeli Tash collided on the first turn, checking Thomeli Tash. Rando Allen and Moonie Cyclone collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn, checking Moonie Cyclone. Zambora Club and Moonie Cyclone collided on the home turn, checking Zambora Club which collided with Thomeli Tash.

Blackpool Floss was quick to begin. Teacup Toni, Cawbourne Mav and Red Neck Miss was slow to begin. Cawbourne Mav and Red Neck Miss collided soon after the start, checking Cawbourne Miss. Dad's Nitro, Peggy Grand and Zoehanna Diva collided on the first turn, checking Peggy Grand. Dad's Nitro galloped on the heels of Zoehanna Diva approaching the home turn, checking Zoehanna Diva and severely checking Dad's Nitro. Cawbourne Mav marred the running of Gyspy Shane in the home straight, checking Zoehanna Diva and severely checking Gypsy Shane.

Stewards spoke to Ms Lisa Farquhar, the trainer of the greyhound Cawbourne Mav regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Cawbourne Mav with marring. Ms Farquhar pleaded guilty to the charge, Cawbourne Mav was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Minnesota Lee and Midnite Starling were slow to begin. Stacey Keeping and Lektra Brandy collided soon after the start, checking Lektra Brandy. Stacey Keeping, Go Natalie Go and Anne's Nitro collided approaching the first turn. Lektra Brandy and Minnesota Lee collided approaching the first turn. Stacey Keeping, Go Natalie Go and Anne's Nitro collided on the first turn, checking Stacey Keeping which collided with Minnesota Lee. Lektra Brandy and Midnite Starling in the home straight.

Boston Quay was quick to begin. Thomeli Monster and Banjo Bad Boy were slow to begin. Thomeli Monster, Jacobite Hammer and Banjo Bad Boy collided approaching the first turn, checking Jacobite Hammer. King Lorrimer checked off the heels of Tearaway Train in the home straight.

Chasing James was quick to begin. Ninety Proof and Miracles Happen collided soon after the start, checking Miracles Happen. Summer Storm, Chasing James and Ninety Proof collided on the first turn, checking Ninety Proof and severely checking Jacobite Joseph. Ninety Proof and Jacobite Joseph collided on the home turn, checking Ninety Proof.

Stewards spoke to Mr Douglas Hammerstein, the representative of Jacobite Joseph, following the event. After reviewing the video footage from the catching pen, Stewards acting under GAR 71A(1)(a) ordered that in future events Jacobite Joseph must race with an anti-aggression muzzle.

Platelayer was slow to begin. Wilbur Deeds, Zipping Blaze, Aston Ninja, Wise Lewis and Squishy Pea collided soon after the start, checking Wise Lewis. Fast Trapper, Platelayer, Zipping Blaze and Wilbur Deeds collided on the first turn, checking Fast Trapper, Platelayer, Zipping Blaze, Squishy Pea and Hotspur Joey, forcing Wise Lewis, Aston Ninja and Hotspur Joey to race wide. Platelayer and Squishy Pea collided on the home turn. Fast Trapper and Platelayer collided entering the home straight. 

Cindy La Moment was a late scratching at 2:21pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Good Odds Ava was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke and issued a warning to Mr Luke Harris, the trainer of the greyhound Good Odds Ava, regarding the greyhound's performance. Mr Harris was directed to notify Stewards as soon as practible of anything that may have affected the performance of the greyhound in today's event pursuant to GAR 75(1).

Kiss Me Putu and Bereluke collided approaching the first turn. Cool Number, Bereluke and Bumble Bee Bolto collided on the first turn, checking Bereluke and Bumble Bee Bolto. Johnnie Red checked off Cool Number on the first turn. Kiss Me Putu and Bumble Bee Bolto collided approaching the home turn, causing both greyhounds to both wide. 

Bobby Tokaam, Billy Deeds and Jar Man collided soon after the start and again on the first turn, checking Jar Man. Bobby Tokaam, Billy Deeds and Zipping Mack collided approaching the home turn. Billy Deeds and Zipping Mack collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.
