Cee Bay was slow to begin. Vanna Allen and Bowled Harro collided soon after the start. Cee Bay and All Rise collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. All Rise contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Ashby Quick, Vanna Allen and Bowled Harro collided on the first turn, checking Vanna Allen and Bowled Harro. Cee Bay checked off Vanna Allen approaching the home turn and galloped on the heels of Bowled Harro, severely checking Cee Bay and Bowled Harro. All Rise and Cee Bay collided on the home turn. All Rise and Bowled Harro collided in the home straight. 

Bowled Harro was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr A.Graham the trainer of Cee Bay regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Stewards took into consideration the severe interference the greyhound received, all available footage and took no further action. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Craig Elliott, the trainer of the greyhound All Rise regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. All Rise was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left achilles and left metatarsal, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged All Rise with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Elliott pleaded guilty to the charge, All Rise was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
