Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr P.Presutto, the trainer of Uprising regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Uprising last raced on 22 August 2018.. Mr Presutto stated the greyhound was resuming racing following a left hind broken toe.
Dyna Winkler and Bobby Tokaam was slow to begin.
Uprising, Mustang Bay, Let Him Ride, St.Pauli and Dyna Winkler collided on the first turn checking Mustang Bay and severely checking Let Him Ride and St. Pauli, causing both greyhounds to fall.
St Pauli was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the whip muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Let Him Ride was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right radius ulna fracture, and was humanely euthanased.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Ledgerwood Road trialled over the 390 from box 8 ,weight 28.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.The time of the trial was 21.98,( hand timed) the greyhound won by a margin of 7.5L. Ledgerwood Road was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Hunt, the trainer of Thomeli Tash regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Thomeli Tash last raced on 14th March 2018. Mr Hunt stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Mr Hunt declared a new weight of 30.6kg for the greyhound. Thomeli Tash last raced at 28.7kg. Thomeli Tash trialled over the 390mts from box 1, weight 30.6kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The trial was hand timed at 21.98, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.5L. Thomeli Tash was Cleared.

Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry regarding an incident in the kennelling area following race 8 between trainers Mr A.Paraskevas and Mr G.James.
